Our Mt. Pleasant law firm was started by Loren Gray in the early 1960's. Loren was born, raised, and lived just outside of Mt. Pleasant. In fact, all of the lawyers at GSIR Law have longstanding ties to the area.
Don Sowle joined the law firm in the late 1970's. After attending law school at the University of Detroit he returned home to Mt. Pleasant, where he grew up. Don pursued many ways to give back to the community, including serving as the Mayor of Mt. Pleasant in the 1990's.
Dan Iacco joined the practice in the early 1980's. Dan went to school at Central Michigan University, and worked in Mt. Pleasant at his family's sporting goods store. After attending law school at the University of Detroit, he moved back to Mt. Pleasant to join Loren and Don forming Gray, Sowle, Iacco & Richards P.C.
Pat Richards joined the practice in 2000. Pat grew up in the Harrison area where his dad was superintendant of public schools. After graduating from Michigan State University, Pat went to law school at Univerity of Detroit.
In 2000 the firm cemented it's ties to the area by designing and building their main office on Ashland Drive off of Pickard Road.
